Rescue every photo
from the scanner bed.
Scan a whole sheet of old prints at once. CapCrop makes cutting, straightening, and labeling each one easy. A shoebox sorted in an afternoon, not over a long winter.
No spam. One note when the beta opens, that's it.
How it works
Three steps from scan to archive.
No fiddly per-photo scanning. Lay them down in batches, and CapCrop makes the cutting, straightening, and sorting quick.
Scan in batches
Lay several photos on the flatbed, scan the whole sheet, and drop the images straight in.
Box each photo
Draw a box around each picture to lift it out, then nudge a slider to set a crooked one level.
Label & export
Add captions and folders, then download a tidy zip, plus a full backup you can keep forever.
What you get
Built for shoeboxes, not single shots.
Restoring, captions, and negatives arrive during the beta. Join the list and you'll be first to try them.
Your photos stay yours
Never used to train AI.
Old family photos are personal. CapCrop is built so they stay that way — no surprises about where your pictures go.
Never used to train AI
When you auto-tag or restore a photo, it's processed by our trusted AI partners under business terms that forbid using your images to train their models. Your photos are never sold or shared.
AI only runs when you ask
Cutting, straightening, and sorting all happen without sending your photos to any AI. A picture only reaches an AI partner the moment you tap Auto-tag or Restore — never before.
Bring your own key
Prefer to keep AI processing inside your own account? Add your own AI provider key and those requests run entirely through it.
Yours to take with you
Export everything as a tidy zip plus a full backup, whenever you like. Delete your photos and they're gone from CapCrop.
Do you use my photos to train AI?
No. Photos you send for auto-tagging or restoration are processed by our trusted AI partners under their business terms, which do not use your content to train or improve their models. CapCrop never uses your photos to train any AI, and never sells them.
What does the AI see?
We use trusted AI partners for two things: suggesting captions and tags, and restoring faded or damaged prints. They only ever receive the specific photo you chose to tag or restore, plus an anonymous account number we attach so our partners can monitor for abuse — never your name, your email, or the rest of your library.
What happens to a photo after the AI processes it?
The result comes straight back to your library. Our AI partners may keep a short-lived copy to guard against abuse and then delete it; they don't train on it. If you'd rather no copy be retained at all, use your own AI key (below).
Can I use my own AI account instead?
Yes. CapCrop supports bring-your-own-key: add your own AI provider key and all AI processing runs through your account, under your own provider terms.
Can I delete my photos?
Anytime. Remove individual photos or clear a whole session, and they're deleted from CapCrop. You can also export a full backup first so you always keep your own copy.
